Antique 19th century large angels skin corral cameo Carved birds in gold plated frame very rare

It’s a beautiful cameo brooch depicting four birds bathing and drinking in a birdbath over a mantle. It’s delicately carved into a fine detailed sculpture.

There is a crack along the bottom of the table, under the birdbath. But it is almost not visible because it is on the same line, at the bottom side of the table. The sculpture within the brooch remains secure, because there are clips behind it, holding it well into the brooch. You can wear it, and not worry about the crack.

This “angels skin corral” brooch is so beautiful and unique, that it’s will stand out in any collection.
