Authentic and historically significant, these U.S. Vietnam Era Jungle Combat Boots were manufactured by Endicott Johnson Corp, a verified military contractor during the late 1960s. They are dated May 1968 (5/68) and feature the original SPIKE PROTECTIVE marking inside the canvas confirming their genuine issue for U.S. forces serving in Vietnam.
Constructed with black leather uppers, OD green canvas panels, and vented sides for breathability and quick drainage, these boots were engineered for the tough conditions of Southeast Asia. The spike protective soles provided added safety against punji stakes and other field hazards.
This pair appears barely worn or possibly unused, with strong tread, clean canvas, and supple leather. One boot retains its lace, while the other is missing it.
Pre-owned vintage condition. Appear barely worn, with one boot missing its lace. Minor storage wear from age. See photos for details. I've pointed out a couple of superficial flaws, see photos 13 & 18
