VTG Calvin Curtis Necktie Museum of Modern Art NYC Rabbit Cravateur Rare Art Handmade

From my research, this necktie is one of a kind & was made between 1930s-1960;s

Made of Fine Silk

Black with rabbit sitting in a top hat, holding a cane, printed all over the tie...the color of the rabbits are a strange color..almost a pale yellow or very off white(see pics, this is the best I can describe the design)

Back of tie has " Calvin Curtis Cravateur Registered New York"

From my research, his ties were either given to MOMA(New York City) by him or either donated by someone who owned the necklies. There is very little information about the artist, but a few of his ties are featured in MOMA in NYC

57" L end to end

2.75" W at widest point

Front of tie is in excellent condition

Back of tie has a loose thread(maybe a label was there?) & a rip on one side(see last pic)

Has been stored in pet free, smoke free home
