20 years ago I purchased a 10 pound bag of wheat cents. . I put them away hoping that my (future) grandchildren would be interested in coin collecting as a hobby as I was when I was a child. ( I already knew that my own children were not interested in the hobby).
My grandchildren are now old enough that I know that they - like their parents - are not interested in coin collecting. I have neither the inclination (nor the eyes) to begin sorting through these pennies so I have begun wrapping them.
When I purchased these pennies they were advertised to cover a variety of dates and mint marks so that is what you should be getting.
In the early 1980s I went to my bank and purchased several customer rolls of pennies that had just been brought in. I put them away to search on a rainy day and just found them. I have no idea what these rolls contain. I am including one of these rolls as a bonus roll.
